how much tape consumption for a mt of cable

I should know how much tape of consumable sheet to draw a 1 meter cable with a certain diameter.
Knowing: the diameter of the cable (mm.5), the width of the tape (mm.0.20), the winding step (43).

However, I don't think it's a tape only 0.2 mm wide (two / tenths of mm), it was a thread.. .
as you said that wrap a sheet, even here you have to add to the cylinder radius, a certain quota, given by the thickness of the sheet.
by being able to consider this sprocket as a magnet, you can consider the black fiber in the middle of the sheet, i.e.: winding radius = cylinder radius + 1/2 thickness sheet.

in my first request there is an error, the width of the tape is of mm.20 and the thickness 0.20mm, the step remains 43 and the diameter of the cable to wrap is of 5mm. there is no overlap between an edge and the other remains an uncovered space dictated just by the very wide step.
the question was; how much tape consumption per meter of cable wrapped? and possible have the formula?

ciao Neutrality, as you did not show us how you did the wrapping, also considering the fact that you say that there is no overlap, I send you the generic formula with the specific example, where, moreover, a calculated overlap of 4,7 mm.
not being a simple adhesive tape, of negligible thickness, you will not be able to do this wrapping manually.
the overlap increases the diameter on one side of the tape and will lead you to decrease the step.
