a greeting and a good year to all.
I think the subject is sad and retrite, I apologize, but... I keep having big problems importing banal 2d designs produced with autocad!
in particular the colors of the strokes (e.g. black becoming yellow!!!) of the retini and fillings in general, are regularly modified. Sometimes, when I don't notice, I risk not even notice important details. I just happened to print for a construction site plates of the armed cements, produced by an acad colleague, that the carpenters have struggled to interpret precisely for the reasons mentioned.
Does anyone have magic formulin for proper import of dwg? ? ?
thanks for the attention.
walter
p.s. my vector is 2010 sp4 r5

depends on the ctb file attached to the dwg that you are passed.
if the ctb is present vw the law and asks you confirmation with a window showing the thicknesses of the associated lines and colors that you can edit.
if the ctb is not present vw reads if in the file are assigned thicknesses and asks you what colors you want to associate them.
same thing in the export stage: vw allows you to select the option to generate ctb file, and a window asks you to confirm thickness and associated colors.
import/export operations always require some attention. Don't be left to chance.
anyway after importing it better always check that it's all right.
I do.

Bye-bye.
here's what the ctb file I sometimes get along with the dwg!!!
He thinks that, not knowing what it was, I always ignored it, eliminating it and saving in my workbooks only the dwg...
So I have to ask that sending me the dwg always send me the ctb? who sends me the file, to get it, must make a particular export/saving?
Thank you.

request an etransmit. is a special procedure of autocad that hangs in a single zip file all you need for the correct opening, viewing and printing of the dwg.

Okay, I'll take the first chance.
Thank you 1000.
