Hello.
I meet the following problem in a car that installed me10 and that always worked until recently:

'0101-509' password error: '00104b69adc6' no password was generated for the id-number of the machine on which me10 was launched: wrong id-number.

I have no experience of cad and no less than me10, can anyone give me any indication of what I can do?

thanks in advance

does not read the passwords of any application. feel your dealer to clear this up.

Hi.

thank you for the info,
the problem is that the dealer from which the license had been purchased no longer exists and the license does not have an active maintenance contract.

When you write that you do not read the passwords of any application you refer to applications outside me10 and need other passwords? i.e. could some application have been installed later and blocking the execution of me10?

other tips about what I could do in the absence of a dealer?

Thank you for your help

Yes,
you are right, or rather I did not replace the network card as it is on-board, but since at some point it did not work anymore I mounted a second pci network card and I disabled from bios that on the motherboard.

is the license linked to the mac-address of the network card? Is there any way to reactivate the license on the new network card?

Thank you very much for the tip, I didn't think about it.

You should have the mels that refer to the mac address of the network card you used before.try to see if you installed it and see if you can give it the new network card.unfortunately I can not help you more than much because now I have a standard installation where the licenses point all to the server.

What version do you have of me10?
if the motherboard does not work but is read as a device, rehabilitate it. mels reads the mac address of the network card, so just read the hardware.

Okay, today I try to rehabilitate the on-board bios network card, then I let you know.

by curiosity: the "mels" is an encrypted file that contains various references including mac-address and must be generated by the software provider or is it an application?

Thank you for your help.

Then,
I restored the network card from bios, now it is seen from the operating system and also gives me its mac-address, but I always receive the same error from me10.

I wanted to try, through the macmakeup program, to force the mac-address on the new tab (3com 3c905tx) with the same of the previous one, but unfortunately 3com is not seen from the program.

so I'm point and head.

Since some people answer me from veto/vice (which is my province) you can recommend a company that assists me10 so you can contact her? (I hope I don't break any forum rules otherwise excuse me).

Note: the version of me10 is the 13.2 of 2005.

00104b69adc6 if you do
netstat -r?
Have you tried to make the mels restart?
Did you change your name to your computer on the net?
Have you verified the password.m file of me10?
when you do http://127.0.0.1:17171/ Does the screen appear with the licensing situation?

I don't know however I can tell you the progressevo are from Ferrara I bought the modeling and are people with experience and series.

Hi.

Mar

Unfortunately the machine is also in another location so I can't work "freely".

I have sent for the moment the licensing situation that is the following:

mels rev. 14.0.1.0(2006/3/1) @ cad3[0x0013d46a5e46] - installed: 2006/2/21 - uptime: 57m - now: 2010/1/21t15:54:43

the mels is now using the card [0x0013d46a5e46]you need to remake the mels setup (rev. 14.0.1.0)
telling them to use your 00104b69adc6 card
so you should fix

try also to post the result of
netstat -r made by the prompt (or at least check that the 00104b69adc6) appears

excuse the question that will certainly be banal: how do I "remake the mels setup"?

Thank you very much for the info.

fabio

I also got the result of the "netstat -r":

list of interfaces
0x1 ...................................... ms tcp loopback interface
0x60003 ...00 13 d4 6a 5e 46 ...... intel(r) pro/1000 mt network connection - mi
niport of the package planning utility
0x70002 ...00 10 4b 69 per c6... 3com ethernet card based on 3c905tx (gene
rica) - miniport of the package planning utility

ok, the 00 13 d4 6a 5e 46 is the one that does not work while the 00 10 4b 69 to c6 is the working 3com.

Now the question is: how do you tell me to use the second?

Thank you.

launch
mels-setup-14.0.1.0-pc-windows.exe
I sent you a pm with the address from which you can download

If I have understood well that you apply using it, it does little of the new mels. passwords were otherwise calculated regardless of mels.

Bye.

but in fact this is not the new mels, it is the same that it is using.
by doing the setup can direct the mels to the right network card
now is aiming at the wrong one
honeys rev. 14.0.1.0(2006/3/1) @ cad3[0x0013d46a5e46]

Hello everyone,
I tell you right away that I think I've solved it... but it wasn't easy! This is the account of what I did:

- as suggested I launched the mels setup so that it goes to point to the second network card (that with mac-address 00-10-4b-69-ad-c6 to understand us), at the end it restarts the mels service.

- I tried to start me10, but I made the same mistake.

- I looked at the licensing situation http://127.0.0.1:17171/ ed was the following:

honeys rev. 14.0.1.0(2006/3/1) @ cad3[0x00104b69adc6] - installed: 2006/2/21 - uptime: 1m26s - now: 2010/1/22t08:18:46
license summary

license type (#1)

current usage 0 0%
maximum usage 0 0%

So mels pointed to the new mac-address, but for this address he did not find active licenses.

- I then downloaded a new version of macmakeup (195d); This version saw the new 3com, I assigned the old mac-address to the new network card, I restarted the pc, and me10 normally leaves while mels always pointed to the wrong mac-address.

- I thought then to restart the setup of mels to return to the previous mac-address but went to blue screen of windows xp..... shiver!

- turned off the pc, disabled by bios the on-board network card, restarted the pc, remade the mels setup now correctly and in the end it all works (spero).

I thank you so much for the help you gave me.
