I meet the following problem in a car that installed me10 and that always worked until recently:

'0101-509' password error: '00104b69adc6' no password was generated for the id-number of the machine on which me10 was launched: wrong id-number.

I have no experience of cad and no less than me10, can anyone give me any indication of what I can do?

does not read the passwords of any application. feel your dealer to clear this up.

the problem is that the dealer from which the license had been purchased no longer exists and the license does not have an active maintenance contract.

When you write that you do not read the passwords of any application you refer to applications outside me10 and need other passwords? i.e. could some application have been installed later and blocking the execution of me10?

other tips about what I could do in the absence of a dealer?

you are right, or rather I did not replace the network card as it is on-board, but since at some point it did not work anymore I mounted a second pci network card and I disabled from bios that on the motherboard.

is the license linked to the mac-address of the network card? Is there any way to reactivate the license on the new network card?

You should have the mels that refer to the mac address of the network card you used before.try to see if you installed it and see if you can give it the new network card.unfortunately I can not help you more than much because now I have a standard installation where the licenses point all to the server.

What version do you have of me10?
if the motherboard does not work but is read as a device, rehabilitate it. mels reads the mac address of the network card, so just read the hardware.

I restored the network card from bios, now it is seen from the operating system and also gives me its mac-address, but I always receive the same error from me10.

I wanted to try, through the macmakeup program, to force the mac-address on the new tab (3com 3c905tx) with the same of the previous one, but unfortunately 3com is not seen from the program.

so I'm point and head.

Since some people answer me from veto/vice (which is my province) you can recommend a company that assists me10 so you can contact her? (I hope I don't break any forum rules otherwise excuse me).

Note: the version of me10 is the 13.2 of 2005.

Have you verified the password.m file of me10?

the mels is now using the card [0x0013d46a5e46]you need to remake the mels setup (rev. 14.0.1.0)
telling them to use your 00104b69adc6 card
so you should fix

try also to post the result of
netstat -r made by the prompt (or at least check that the 00104b69adc6) appears

If I have understood well that you apply using it, it does little of the new mels. passwords were otherwise calculated regardless of mels.

Hello everyone,
I tell you right away that I think I've solved it... but it wasn't easy! This is the account of what I did:

- as suggested I launched the mels setup so that it goes to point to the second network card (that with mac-address 00-10-4b-69-ad-c6 to understand us), at the end it restarts the mels service.

- I tried to start me10, but I made the same mistake.

- I looked at the licensing situation http://127.0.0.1:17171/ ed was the following:

So mels pointed to the new mac-address, but for this address he did not find active licenses.

- I then downloaded a new version of macmakeup (195d); This version saw the new 3com, I assigned the old mac-address to the new network card, I restarted the pc, and me10 normally leaves while mels always pointed to the wrong mac-address.

- I thought then to restart the setup of mels to return to the previous mac-address but went to blue screen of windows xp..... shiver!

- turned off the pc, disabled by bios the on-board network card, restarted the pc, remade the mels setup now correctly and in the end it all works (spero).
