license transfer and download my current version

Good morning, everyone.
in 2016 we purchased a solidworks license with its first year of maintenance.
after which it was decided to stop maintenance.
now, after the year of maintenance, we arrived to have the 2017 version sp.2.0.
I'll have to replace the pc next week.
on the new pc I will install the version 2016 (which I have on cd).
what will then be the procedure to return to having the 2017 sp.2.0 we have now? where it is possible to download it since we are not in maintenance?

try to see if accessing the solidworks website with your credentials makes you download the latest version that is your right to have. I recommend you always download the versions of sw and keep them, even if you do not install them, so that when necessary you have

I tried. Unfortunately, not having an active contract, the section "download and updates" is not enabled

hi, you can run the last directly, although 2017 s.p 2 would be a ''young'' version. always better to have high s.p as number so as to have fewer possible bugs.

to me it seems to be given by someone, that it is not a dealer, a program comes back in point 11.
for these issues I recommend you address solidworks assistance and discuss in detail the situation

I can understand the concern however only for information istallers have always been free downloads, only that having passed a few years become difficult to find.. Of course, I don't ask for any serial numbers or licenses they already have.
