Bye to all,
I prepare with inventor the development plans of sheet metal components that then punch/cut with a laser machine and piego.
Since I work with very many distinct pieces and also very similar pieces dimensionally, I need to be able to identify everything that is produced through a marking.
the marking is done directly by the punching machine or laser, based on a text that must be found in the dxf file that sends to the postprocessor that processes cn files for cutting machines.
I generate the various dxf files starting from a parametric ipart managed by an excel file.
combining the features of the various columns of the excel file with both the filename and the namepart (they are equal). es: customerxy_flangia_inx_d300_f5-5x6......
I would like to find an automatic way to write in the flat pattern of the sheet metal part the name of the file (at a distance prefixed from the edge of the part). this text must also be exported to the dxf file obtained with the command "export face as..."
I hope to have explained, thank you in advance for the help.
