hi.to do engineering you don't have to be geniuses or graduates in high school with the average of 10, what really matters is to have a great commitment, consistency and to be able to organize with efficiency time ...to be able to do this I think it is inevitable that you have enough pleasure what studies (which doesn't mean that you have to enjoy every single exam but obviously the course as a whole).
This more or less is what should allow you to have satisfaction in the study, at work will be another story but on that I can not help you since I have almost no experiences.

If you can console yourself: in high school I took higher grades in philosophy or in Latin than mathematics or physics but in engineering I never had problems with any examination (even those of mathematics and physics); On the contrary, I can tell you that for what is my student experience in a way it almost helped me to smooth my head with philosophy and follow logical and rigorous methods with Latin rather than learn the integration of riemann in high school.

I was very immature and now I realize that if I had put the effort I would have had very good results. Of course engineering is anything else from the subjects studied previously in high school... I think it's a degree of difficulty 1000 times higher. My great fear is to be so hard of understanding that I can't even do it if I went to study 8 hours a day and I'd probably get out of it if I didn't have any success with the exams. so many people I know study mechanics and test the exams 3 times before passing them even with a very high vote... I am terrified of this... mechanics I care because I would like to work by applying theoretical materials to reality... How are job opportunities?

8 hours of study per day? But you mean rest days?

Mathematics and high school physics are very "different" from university ones. To go wrong on one side does not necessarily mean to go wrong on the other. and not going well on one side guarantees you simplicity on the other.

But I used it because I hear people who have two exams and captain the same day... poor stisti just prepare for one thing and the other go there and try it right... because they already know that they couldn't prepare the other...
