I have already searched the answer here in the forum but without going out. . .
in the company finally changed the monitor from 19" with which I use autocad practically all day.
Good. I'd say bad. without fail to ask yesterday arrives the technician and delivers me and installs a lcd technology led from 21,5/22" in clear appearance 16:9 (of brand note). . .
installed the new monitor my initial impressions were immediately negative: behavior due to format 16:9, everything was small and streaked (pardon, elongated) in an unsightly manner. :36_1_25:
the technician calms me and tries to fix the definition of the screen (just acting on windows screen properties...).
He says hello and leaves: "try it, if we ever hear each other... ".
Now I find myself working with a screen whose definition seems to be that of the commodore 64 of the good times they were (cause this is the fact that to get a minimum of decency in proportions I am forced to use a low video definition, of the order if I remember well of the 1020x600...).
Now, I'm not a technician but it doesn't seem like an autocad monitor, also considering that between icons, icons and various amenity of the program the usable screen is reduced to a strip of a few centimeters. . I regret my previous lcd screen with its 'normal' proportions from 19".
What do you recommend to recommend (discuss the word game) for purchase?
given the purchase forecast also of solidworks, I would stay at least on a 24".
I read on the forum that some for use in cad do not recommend the 16:9 against a better 16:10. but the 'normal' proportions of the 'old' monitor are no longer good?
Thank you:36_1_11:
