oldversion together

Hello, everyone!
I have a problem in managing the oldversions of my assemblies. we proceed by step:

1) I modify a component (part.ipt) that is in the axieme.iam
2) the part.0001.ipt is created within the oldversions folder
3) I accept the aid with the modified and saved part. at this point is created the file together.0001.iam

I would like to open the old version of the axieme (assieme.0001.iam). the following messages appear in sequence in the opening of the file:continuous with ok continuous withagain

at this point opens the file together.0001.iam but it is not the old version (instead of there is the part.0001.it there is the part.ipt)

I don't understand why I don't open the old version file with the old part

It is right so, the old version of the file before saving the moment, with changes made until that moment.
if you save a.iam, after you have modified b.ipt, the oversion to.0001.iam will contain b.ipt.
oldversion is not like the autocad .bak and will never be automatically
if you think you have to go back, you have to save the old version, or new, explicitly, with a totally new file name (you will not find it in the oldversion folder )
the save by different name is to do for each file that is changed.
If, instead, you want to recover a file you need and that is in oldversion, you rename it by removing the extension .000x and move it to the father folder of "oldversion", so you can replace the new part, that you do not like, with the old one you like most.

I expected to find in a.0001.iam the unmodified part (which should be b.0001.ipt or the oldversion of b.ipt)
