Bye to all,
I was doing rendering tests with the aplication of solidworks and I noticed that in the process of rendering processing (which I wanted to "exasperate" as to details) the hardware load is 100% rested on the cpu and less than 5% on the video card (picture envy p2000).

Is it normal or do I have to change some set of the pc?

thanks, as always

advance that I am a neophyte/noob and everything was set by a designer: Immagine.webpIn conclusion, yes, I think it's normal.
the help that I can give you is however to use solidworks visualize for renderings (you are entitled with the license and you can take the serial code dedicated directly from the dassault site in 'my product') because besides a clear reduction of rendering times, it has some textures and is more suitable for realism photo or at least for me regarding the process that leads to a good rendering is much less exhausting.

is normal, photoview360 only uses cpu, to use gpu you have to use visualize or other rendering sw

Yeah, that's the same thing I've been told by the assistance center after I asked you.

thanks atreiou, without visualize the generation of a render would become a... endless history!

I'll tell you. I still use photoview360, for what I need is more than enough.
even if I have visualize it and I have it ready to test. .

I used photoview for the creation of some renders that have imposed me to rethink the same scene several times to try colors, lights and general aesthetic rendering. was rather slow in processing (not exploiting gpu) and the thing is annoying if you have to make more attempts.

visualize seems more useful to me in this perspective.

thanks to all

... andhmm boys, I stand visualize can have it for free too? even if I'm a bit that stopped at r2016?
If positive, explain how and where? :finger:

I seem to remember, but I'm not sure, that with 2016 you have to download it and install it. .

on the package page included in the versions is included in the premium and professional, it is still present since 2016.

good! io ho la prof 2016!
I seem to remember, but I'm not sure, that with 2016 you have to download it and install it. .
Now it's time to understand where to download it freely, because on the portal, for those who like me stopped at 2016 there's no way to download, but maybe elsewhere (you will notice that I let go of talking about rights... ) Any links on where to download?.... maybe, at the presentation they gave chance to download it waiting for the way, and maybe I had downloaded it and kept it in the office ... tomorrow check and limit, if it is not illegal, I leave a link somewhere ...

I did not try to restart the installation of 2016, but I'm sure it was not possible to install it directly from them, unlike 2017. I went to the site solidworks and visualize x the version 2016 is in fact downloadable separately. It's 905 mb. It's your right to have that software, maybe you just go back to the site and still allows you to download it. I don't think there's anything wrong to let you pass by someone, but as he said massive you still feel the assistance because they are required to respond equally.

visualize for 2017 premium was present in the installation package, but to install it it was necessary to recover the specific serial, which is different from that of solidworks
in 2016 was unloaded

I do not remember though if visualize is usable only by those who have the active subscription.

repeated visualize
installed visualize
asks code (which obviously wasn't available at the time = we give you the door but the keys still don't have them ready ...)
stone above to visualize
mod.sfogo oncommercial logic sw: always + unbearable
... and as far as I'm concerned also againstproductive...mod.sfogo offthanks to all:

Yes, I mean there, even though I've recorded the key like you, I've had the section that's been locked up for six months... .
