pirate software blackmail

to reach that system there would be a firewall, with which to block Internet access by adding exceptions concerning the files of that program if these files tried to connect to the internet. But that's illegal, of course.
that it is illegal to use unlicensed software is obvious, but it is certainly not illegal to enter into the firewall of exceptions that prevent any software from accessing the internet. regardless of the end.

I can (and should) be sanctioned if I use pirate software, but I cannot be sanctioned for entering any rules in my PC's firewall.

to stay on the topic of regular or pirated software for use say so personal: for office I solved the problem by renting everything to even 70€ annually and so I took off a thought. Now I'm looking for a 3d cad whose manufacturer does something similar to human prices. my use would be very occasional (some ten hours a year) and only to generate models to pass then to companies (sheet work, machine tools, 3d printers) for the production of particular objects for personal use. It is at the end of advanced hobbism without profit. Until now, however, I have seen only school licenses or temporary evidence. I was a big software company I would think about it before someone arrives and squander everything (see uber or airbnb in other sectors)

many software are now rented. autocad, inventor, solidworks, I create a lot to lose some.

there are also free 3d cad.
However all things already discussed in the forum

By the way, good morning to you...

you can try fusion 360 is also free for companies up to a certain turnover (think 100k dollars annual) and also paying weight both on 600 euros per year

What to say. I thank all for the quick and above all clear answers. I haven't used professionally for years and so I don't know the environment properly enough. I will see to fruit the receipts. Thanks again to everyone.

you will find very cheap esd licenses around... type office 2019 at about 80 euro per perpetual license. or autocad lt 60 euro per annual license.
I have been haunting with autocad I have tried practically all the possible free cads not finding anything that gauze me... at the end I opted for a fee, the progecad at an honest price given its potential and especially perpetual license.

also dassault draftsight as a clone of autocad is free in the basic version and is not bad.

a similar cad, almost identical, autocad and free is drafsight.
there is openoffice to replace office
there is gimp to replace photoshop
there is xchangepdf to replace acrobat
Maybe they have limits to the considerations, but only if the latter are used exploiting their potential... for most people there is no difference

I x work use with "extreme and graceful" (as someone said) openoffice and libreoffice. nothing to envy to the most "blasoned" package, indeed x many aspects are better these last. only if you use database there are still differences. . .
regarding the cad 2d I used draftsight and you can work very well, of course it is slightly different but it is enough to make us habit, then those who use also solidworks you find very well. then I bought the perpetual license at an extremely advantageous cost and would say ridiculous gstarcad, with the possibility of buying even a protection key. The latter is not just a thing, it prevents you from making online license transfers. I prefer it by far, because the transfers you may forget them, the key definitely not. gstarcad is perfectly equal in all senses, absolutely nothing changes in the way of working and setting all options. time ago I saw a very interesting software that was nanocad, which I think is totally free or almost. was very good, take a look....
the software there are of all tastes, just look for them and try them.

First thing: I thank everyone for the answers, their concreteness (but I did not doubt it) and speed.
second thing: I apologize to everyone for the delay in the answer but, finish the holidays, I resumed working and great wool.
I will try to see and try these cads and then choose one that best suits my needs.
for the rest of the software that say: gimp, open office and a free relational data base of mine already use them.
microsoft office I bought it for quiet living. the person with whom I share life already complains of simple version changes, and not always wrong I would say. Imagine how my life would become if I forced her to use it for example open office where, in addition to the names of various software, change colors, icons and even some philosophy of operation. ;);

autocad fusion 360 exists in different modes of licensing, one is the one described above, the other and as a student and lasts 3 years and the other if you are a free hobbyist maker forever :). to get the last one it is enough to download the trial, register as maker/ hobbista and at the end of the trial it becomes definitive

Hello, everyone.
for completeness of things, I wanted to update you about the problem with the software house that challenged me a "passed" use of its license-free software.
I had to answer by legal means through lawyer, since this foreign software house had supported an Italian lawyer to try to sell me at all costs the license of the most expensive version of that software.
By contesting the accusations that were nothing but clues and no certain evidence of my guilt, and by refusing me punctually to surrender to their demands, everything resolved in a non-de factual. in the sense that the company has desisted to carry out any legal action and has abandoned the issue, so much so that it is more than a year that they have no longer heard.

Hi stechi,

thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, they are in your own condition. Could you send me your lawyer's contact so I avoid explaining everything from a new one?

Good evening, guys.
I find myself in the same situation. ...
How did you solve that?

Thank you

other thing, is there a way to know if there are files in the computer generated with a certain version of a program?
Thank you.

the company does not enter your pc, installing the software is your pc that sends the usage data to the company. from how much I know these reports leave if the use has been continued for a different time and not a few hours. in Italy there are too many furbi and their way to make massacre the market at the expense of those who behave well. But you know how many times I've been told that I'm too dear to people who don't even have an idea of what the equipment costs to design? as the state does not control and the laws are not respected the software house are equipped. pirate software should not be installed, point and end. I use software also for private use and if I can afford to purchase it, otherwise I see to fold on less performing but free solutions. I'll be square, but that sounds right to me.
here the case of the crime committed by autodesk is very serious. with the help of unauthorized access (the niece or anyone for it, unauthorized to install software on business pcs) had access to confidential data. I think they're risking the penalty because they're being introduced into a PC without any permission from the owner, it's a serious crime, if you do it by taking advantage of a minor, it's an aggravating one. in practice they did not control the age of the person who accepted their clauses, they used a minor to install what is in effect an unauthorized software to bypass security systems, and tried to extort 50,000 euros. This is not about pirate software, but a series of serious crimes.

never read an eula (end-user license agreement)? If autodesk does what he does is because he can do it; have flowers of lawyers following their legal issues, you think you're right? sue him and find out. . .

the manager of the pc is his owner. if it leaves access with administrative rights to the nephew the fault is not of autodesk or other software house but of the owner of the pc that has not been sufficiently noticed.

I agree 100%.
