you will find very cheap esd licenses around... type office 2019 at about 80 euro per perpetual license. or autocad lt 60 euro per annual license.
I have been haunting with autocad I have tried practically all the possible free cads not finding anything that gauze me... at the end I opted for a fee, the progecad at an honest price given its potential and especially perpetual license.

I x work use with "extreme and graceful" (as someone said) openoffice and libreoffice. nothing to envy to the most "blasoned" package, indeed x many aspects are better these last. only if you use database there are still differences. . .
regarding the cad 2d I used draftsight and you can work very well, of course it is slightly different but it is enough to make us habit, then those who use also solidworks you find very well. then I bought the perpetual license at an extremely advantageous cost and would say ridiculous gstarcad, with the possibility of buying even a protection key. for completeness of things, I wanted to update you about the problem with the software house that challenged me a "passed" use of its license-free software.
I had to answer by legal means through lawyer, since this foreign software house had supported an Italian lawyer to try to sell me at all costs the license of the most expensive version of that software.
By contesting the accusations that were nothing but clues and no certain evidence of my guilt, and by refusing me punctually to surrender to their demands, everything resolved in a non-de factual. in the sense that the company has desisted to carry out any legal action and has abandoned the issue, so much so that it is more than a year that they have no longer heard.
