Hello, everyone.
in the forums I did not find directions, in case I apologize.
My problem is this: on some of our products the label was replaced by a laser engraving.
the serial number is built to automatically update using it as a reference on the day of the year. works properly.
but I have to report this number even on adhesive labels that must be glued to the packaging.
and these should be printed the same day, otherwise you lose alignment.
the problem is that my colleagues do not always do so and then, at the moment, they manually intervene on the file "paper", with all the risks of error of the case.
I had thought of connecting a laser pc label printer and making sure that each engraving prints the corresponding label. It would be enough for me to print the correct serial number, even if it forced me to manually open the corresponding file.
I obviously don't know how to do this.
Could someone give me any suggestions?
I forgot: laser pc uses winxp and is off-line.
Thank you.
