Hi guys, I ask here the question I had placed under the forum solidworks and to which I did not receive answer. I have the cadmouse of the 3d connexion and for a while I can no longer control the simple clik, in the sense that sometimes simply clicking on a file, a folder or even the sw inert he behaves as if I made a double clik. other thing he does is that if I take a file or folder to drag it and move it, while moving it is as if I release the button and then it often happens to make undesirable and just antipathic movements. until a short time ago I noticed it in the pc with win 7, for a while also with that with win 10. I haven't changed any setting, so I ask you if the same thing happens to you, too, and in case you have solved it? Thank you.

hello and thanks x the answer. I have updated drivers and folder options just like you indicated, so I don't understand just how it can happen. I don't think it can be a mouse problem because I use two pcs with the 3d connexion kit and in both do the same thing. I want to uninstall the drivers...

Let him change. . .
I don't know if it's a problem with the first batches, but it happened to me too... I finally changed it.
Fortunately the change is simple: send a mouse photo with the cut USB cable and send you a new mouse.
I use the second from more than one year and I don't have big problems (although lately the central key sometimes "I don't like")... I mean, to be a professional product, I hope they make a second better version at the hardware level... drivers are fantastic (especially having a space pilot pro), which is why I want to keep it. . .

Hello giga, now I am a couple of years that I bought two kit cadmouse+spacenavigator. space navigator works great, while the mouse as I said no. I don't think I'm more in guarantee, even when bought with invoice. I didn't apologize, but did you cut the cable?? to replace to whom you addressed, from the dealer or directly to 3dconnexion?

I'm waiting for you to replace both cadmouses, without getting into details. This is obviously a good problem.
Bye.

Thanks for this post! I have the same problem for a few days, I contact them too. a curiosity: how did you contact them?

Hello and thank you! :-)

I called the Italian number on the site under the voice assistance.
were very kind and helpful
Thank you so much. I'll call them today. I have some doubts, yesterday after reading the post I went to check and I saw that the mouse is about two and a half years and I don't know if they answer again... Boh, let's see, try not to harm.

I had the same problem... the first mouse was in guarantee and I changed it. the second was out of guarantee and I threw it away because I turned the Zebedei... I went to a mouse of the logitec with which I look great.

based on the experience made and having used cadmaouse for a while, of course it is that the product would not recomprehend it and neither would I recommend it to anyone. It is obvious that it is a quality product but, in my opinion, it does not provide any surplus compared to other similar products of competition. instead it is to emphasize the spacenavigator, that if you habitual becomes indispensable.

I use the spacepilot pro combined with the cadmouse. I took the cadmouse because the use of the central key on the wheel is very heavy and the mouse break quickly. with this, once used, I really feel good and hoped it would last a lot. In fact, after just over 2 and a half years the left key from rogne... I also use the button dedicated to cad to switch from wireframe mode to shady mode quickly, when I have to do controls. for me it is very valid, contraindications are that, once used to this, I struggle to work fluid with a normal mouse and that a professional product of this cost should last more. After two and a half years, they don't replace it, and if you want it, you get another one. for now I took the wireless version, I thought it was the same, but instead it is smaller, like laptop mouses.

today the products are all designed with planned breaks and no longer last, all products. yesterday I knew that phone accessories, such as earphones, headphones ect, siccone are prodotes that we use very much apply a guarantee of only 6 months! Of course it is born a whole series of consequences, as to see s eciò is really legally so ect. ect. but if a product costs only a few euros you question?
It's a shame that cadmouses don't last. My parents were literally crazy, in the sense that they wouldn't let me control the cliks I made

when it works well, what does the cadmouse offer more than a normal mouse?
I mean in the speed of what is appreciated?

I use spacemouse with a traditional mouse, why should I change it?

is a good product definitely, very precise and also silent. The wheel doesn't feel at all. If it had the lower side buttons, from my point of view it would be fantastic, but it placed them at the top and then the zoom functions do not use x which x me are uncomfortable at that point. I think that's what I'm saying.

Bye to all,
are about 30 days that I am testing cadmouse wireless version, I use creo, autocad and office.
After the initial impact I held hard and now, acquired the dexterity, I am in love with the central key for rotation and really much of the configurable key behind the wheel...but I have reached a dead point. ..drawing 9 - 10 hours a day I find myself having bad arm, you want posture...you want the weight of the mouse that is not really a feather (110gr.).
Some of you have had the opportunity to try the flush version, because the wireless seems really small to me. Oh, my God. .

Hi.
Daniele

e... on the shape, size and weight that must have the mouse each has its own preferences... My wire cadmouse is "almost" ergonomically (but I have big hands and I am very "fingertip").
as already mentioned above, after changing the first for the double-clik problem, this second still does not give significant signs. the greater problem is the surface wear of the lower plastic (the light gray one) where it is touched with the hand. Now it has a nice "damask" effect in which you see all the layers... but fortunately it is only an aesthetic problem. Using it in combination with the space pilot pro, you can use those that I believe are among the best (dedicated) drivers for mouse and pointing peripherals.
I used a logitech mx revolution in the past, which, despite being recognized as a more ergonomic one, never made me mad. but the absolute best (at ergonomic level) for my hands was razer lachesis. sin for slow drivers in changing applications.

Since the discussion was postponed, I tell you that I risked assistance for that problem and changed both the mouse. since June, I have had no more problems, except that it seems to recover the same annoying problem that I had before in one of the two, i.e. that I have to clikkate more than once to execute a command. this thing known almost exclusively with solidworks... Let's see how it evolves... for the issue ergonomics, I have those with the xche cable I prefer them, and I find them very comfortable and not too heavy. only the side buttons are not made for me, they are too high in fact I do not use them. Before buying them I used an economic mouse of the trust, I do not remember the model, very similar as form to cadmouse. This was economical and very light, I was very comfortable and back I can safely say that cadmouse, while being a great product, is not at all indispensable.
