Hello, everyone.
It's from the times of the passage from vers.18 to st5 that I have an annoying problem of translation of texts in dxf, which with the 18 I didn't have.
I exported to dxf the standard cartouche of if and as you can see from the attached images, the texts are loaded by the various cads (intellicad2000, qcad, librecad) accompanied by additional strings of text that make the correct reading difficult/impossible.
What happens to you?
Has anyone found a solution?
the assistance requested at the time of st5 had not been able to answer me.
now use the st7 but the problem has remained identical.

I laugh at everyone.

I never looked into the problem.
However the first step is the font.
it would be better to use in solid edge of the common fonts installed in all workstations (arial, arial narrow, courier new) or to pass along with the dxf the solid edge font files to install (one time only).
then the options in saving/opening export/import should be checked.

I opened your dxf with draftsight and it's perfect, but I'm opening it on the same workstation on which solid edge is installed, so find the same fonts, if that's the problem. with the cocreate annotation module instead, the result is similar to that of the other cads you tried with. It seems that true-type fonts are not supported, but the problem seems to be receiving cads and not solid edges. you should try to pop up on the dxf.ini file to understand how to export the fonts used in the folder to other more manageable, or the best thing could be to change the files so as to use the standard fonts of windows, as he said Vespa_83

thanks wasp_83 and hunter for the answers.
I do not believe that the problem depends on the font used, the examples I attached I made them starting from the std folder of if (and related std font if).
I have tried in all the ways that have passed my mind to modify the seacad.ini (also by publishing it as text file), but I have not come to the head of anything; What I'm wondering is if someone else has been dealing with stess or problem and if he has found a way to solve it.

p.s. sorry, I had already posted the question long ago:http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/threads/41514-testi-quot-bizzarri-quot-in-file-tradotti-in-dxf
hunter, I think it's time to join the two posts.
