hello to all I have to shape a plate that leans to a washer at a hole
the model therefore includes 2 volumes. I made two models:
la prima:I have two volumes with one shared area between the two.
Mesho and I solve, I'm actually simulating a proper bonding here?
la seconda: I have duplicated the contact areas and now the two volumes do not have shared areas but support in correspondence of two overlapping areas.
I meshato all volumes.
modelling/create contact pair/
target surface:body volume
target type: flexible
contact surface:body volume
contact element type: surface to surface
select "created symmetrical pair"deselezio includes initial penetrationI don't put on clutch coefficient.
Is this way of modeling right? I have not defined contact elements or target...
in fact seeing the tensions comes a peak where the plate goes in support.
thanks for the clarifications!
