hi to everyone, I am learning to use advance steel by self-taught and I have difficulty in communicating the software with revit
the first problem is that when the amount of geometries from revit to as, in the software the axis of the beam appears translated with respect to the geometric form and consequently this creates problems in the creation of the knots and in defining a plan of extradox, since the attempt I made it importing in as a pile of metal beams modeled in revit. in revit the beams of different sections had all the same extradox, in as the beams appear thwarted

the second problem concerns the implementation of the nomenclatures according to the company standards in the catalog of advance steel, as I would like the sections to have the same name (family and/or type) in the catalog of as

for the first problem, I think that the beams used in revit have "defects" at the family level, but it's just a guess.

I doubt that the problem is, families are directly downloaded from the revit cloud and have not been changed

time ago I read a guy on a self-desk forum that had a similar problem with the Australian content pack families; using the uk content families, instead, it worked perfectly. Turns out it was an issue related to the Australian library families.
Do you think the families of the "official" libraries are perfect? I don't know.

I don't know if you're referring to this.. .
However I have made other attempts using other families downloading from the cloud, google or used in the past on other models, but the problem is the same
