Hello everyone,
I'm trying to learn caia by myself and of course, proceeding, I find some difficulties!
That's my problem. Suppose we want to insert a ring into a tube as in the figure and want to do it by subtracting a solid from another. I tried with all Boolean operations but I can't! Is there a way to just leave the ring inside that pipe? If yes, what is it? I stress that I have created two distinct body... the first is the tube, the second is that kind of s-roll (which I designed in that right way to practice)!
Thank you in advance how many will respond!

solve it with the boolean trim union (cuts and join).

the solution would be even easier if you didn't run the 100% hole of the bracket to s.

thanks ferrenzio... very kind! I wonder why before he didn't make me "relimited union"... maybe I was wrong to select the body!!!! if not abuse of your kindness I wanted now to bring the real problem that afflicts me (I attach the file). I have to insert the inside body of a tap (as shown)... such body is morphologically similar to what I represented (I did it quickly for simplicity, but it is very similar, with a hole in the center...). when I go to make the "relimit union" between the central body and the tap tells me that it can't do it because I have to "verify the limits of tangency"! Did I miss something in the faucet modeling? Thanks again.

by analyzing your model, I find it a little messed up.
the error is in the sequential moddellation and applying multiple times the shell operation, and as a final result you get a solid in the inside has the normal inverted, so instead of getting a vacuum you have that part of the model is full (see photo).

the shell operation applocates it only once to the interior of the model, or every tap sector you build must be contained in a body and (so you can doe its shell).
