scale of a block

Good morning.
I apologize in advance if I post a question already formulated earlier, I tried to look for the topic in advanced research but I have a bit of confusion.So, I write you why I kindly need to understand how the scale of a dwg block in autocad works.
I am at the beginning, so I would say a beginner
when I insert a block (in my case a sofa or a bed) I must set a staircase, if not the particular object remains very small compared to the plant.what steps should I make to this point?

to understand the units of the sheet and those of the block
for those of the sheet go menu>formed> unit
for those of the block you have to enter the block and the properties (command properties) you should find a card with the units. *
You have to set up so that the two things are the same.
