Hello everyone,
I haven't been in the forum for study reasons. but now I need (again once) your help. In the meantime I wanted to do all good year greetings even if a little late in hope that it can be as happy and serene as possible! but now we come to my problem:
last year I had downloaded the st6 version of solid edge with academic license of the validity of 1 year and all regular. because now I need a new license, on the siemens site I found a guide to "extend" the academic license of last year, and so I followed the proxy I downloaded the full version of solid edge st7..I installed it. I entered the code of the new license sent me via email and started the software..al which started the problems!! or as soon as I try to create a new part model or to open a file created previously with st6, and instantly or after a few minutes the software crashes darkening the screen, and after a few seconds I get an error message that sends me to this page:
http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3007I now stock a video card nvidia gtx 580 with 1.5 gb dedicated and 8 gb of ram at 1600 mhz with processor i7 2600k, which is not bad as pc even if old of a couple of years, but I do not understand why with solid edge st6 everything went smooth as the oil and instead with the new version crashes continuously. . .I also add that 2 weeks ago about I updated the firmware of the video card to 347.09, and already after the first uses of st7 I noticed that unlike the previous version, the images were more "catching".
I hope therefore that my information along with your experience will certainly broader than mine can find a solution to the problem.
