Bye!
I'm an old school model.
15 years ago I had a great time making 1/43 scale car models.
Now I am very attracted to the idea of buying a 3d printer for hobbistic use to create my models from scratch.
for project work and daily use solidworks, but only with solids. I don't know anything about surfaces.
reading on the net I saw that the road would start from the blueprints and photos of the cars that you want to realize and then with so much patience shape the surfaces until you have a stl.
My question is:
I recommend solidworks or I throw myself on 3d studio max, which we also have in the office?
if I use solidworks I go to deepen a field of use for me completely new, but I do not know if it is the most suitable tool.
probably seen the hobbyist purpose could also suffice... .
if I throw myself on 3ds maybe I struggle to learn more but I have a more powerful tool and space in renderings.. .
Which one of the two do you recommend?
