structural connections: colors

frk

Guest
Bye to all,
I would like to hide in the structural connections of revit the color of the bolts and the plates as in the attached figure (a) or in orange. I managed to change the color of the bolts but not that of the plates getting the result of the Annex b. I got this going on "stili objects" (manage) and inserting customized material. the strange thing is that doing the same for the plates and for other components the modification is not considered (figure attached c). Perhaps it could be because the bolts created not through the structural connections once selected, in the properties it is not possible to choose the material, while for example in the plates (created always not through the structural connections) have the selectable material that I suppose "wine" on the material imposed on "stil objects". ..obviously you could "break" (i.e. explode) the structural connection and then intervene on the material of the plate but the procedure loses the parameterity of the connection. Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thank you.

I have seen that they have already answered you in another forum but you have not replied, so I have not understood whether you have resolved or not. also it is always better to specify the release; If I hadn't read on the other forum you use revit 2019 I wouldn't have known, and on the issue connections could make the difference

Hi.
I was trying to prove it, but without a positive outcome. It would be necessary in synthesis to act on the structural material voice and to change from the current "metal frame" to another material but this for the entire famigia (as a basic value); and I think you can't do it being the family of system. Am I right?
