Bye to all,
I kindly wanted to know if solid edge is provided with a student license?

Thank you.

It exists but it's not free, and I don't know if it's affordable by private students or only by educational institutions that then turn it to their students.

If you need to take a 3d as a student you can see solidworks (see solidworks engineer stimulus package) that is free, or pro/e that costs a hundred euros or inventor, which I don't know if it's free or paid.

still exist onespacedesigner personal edition and alibre xpress, both free of charge.

Note that normally free versions cannot be used for commercial uses (product files are incompatible with commercial versions) and in some cases do not allow to export in neutral formats.

the student license is free but can only be distributed by schools that have purchased, directly from siemens, their educational licenses.
other software manufacturers make it pay. little, but you pay.
