Hello everyone,
I would have a problem with a 3d simulation in fluent.
we have a tank with 75 bar inside and it is assumed that this has a leak that then discharges into atmospheric pressure environment. before launching a case with this delta pressure we thought to decrease the delta with a pressure that is 2 bar instead of 75. my input will certainly be sonic, leak shockked, and I have inserted a gauge rpessure of 1 bar (operative conditions at patm) and an initial pressure supersonic equal to critical pressure (the ratio corresponds to about 0.52 of the input pressure, or 1,08 bar). is it correct? the type of analysis is transient. with this type of settings can I get a sonic input flow?
Thank you.
Giuseppe
