Good morning to all,
I get from the table supplier in dwg format, all solids are exported as no name blocks (I attach a screenshot.)
I'm 99% sure my supplier uses inventor to model, someone can tell me how to make tables like that?

Thank you very much

p.s. all blocks have as origin the coordinates 0.0.0 of 3d1724912606095.webp1724912570445.webp

I think it's something customized, exporting to dwg I don't have option to manage first sight blocks.

exporting files from inventor can be customized, but looking at images remind me a lot of the settings of "autocad mechanical", difficult to say.

the problem are the blocks or was it just a curiosity?

you could also be autocad mechanical!
no is a curiosity because I would like to succeed in replicating myself as a layout.
some idea or comment is well accepted!

could be export in dwg of model 3d (not table, proper of model 3d)1724999346885.pngI think he's acting like you say.

then from what I know, when you save as a copy or export to dwg (do not save by name ) the table idw by inventor. you have to go on the options and select from the autocad mechanical list. this allows you with default settings (by customizable ) to export to groups and not in separate lines. then on autocad you can decide whether to activate or disable groups. I repeat they are groups not blocks. I hope I've been quite clear. available for further doubt.

Thank you. @peppe You have a solution for everything! !

you have to recreate - in inventor - a layer set similar or equal to what you use on autocad.
when an independent inventor dwg is exported, then on autocad you find yourself all aligned.

vice versa I do not think it is possible to create new layers for blocks/parts deriving from the 3d axieme.
It is correct that you worked so on autocad (or autocad mechanical) however in practice it is like using a mindset 2d, working on a 3d export.
useful? not useful? I don't know.
is it a waste of time? Yeah, I'd always say.
