in this discussion we look clean and synthetic to collect any problems with st10 . thank you.

you should read the readmi/readme file attached to the installation package before installation.

license managerin case of floating license, it serves the license server with the service flexnet license manager. with st10 the service must be updated with the installation file (home page on the dvd package), but it is only for pc/server to 64 bit. evaluate the version of your server or evaluate whether to use a workstation as a license server, there is a usb dongle with its driver (available separately on the home page on the dvd package).

If clients fail to get the floating license, then the server has to set exceptions for the firewall.

summary:
- license update on server
with st10 the flexlm (license manager) must be reinstalled and is 64-bit.
if you change servers: put usb dongle
from solid edge dvd (open package):
- install driver for dongle
- install license manager
- selicense charge.dat
- in lmtools.exe: stop server; start server; reread license files
(the fields "path" in config service must be compiled)

if clients do not find the server (error:-15 cannot connect to license server system... )
add firewall exceptions to the server for the application:
- lmgrd.exe
- selmd.exe

- reboot

problems of interaction of third-party programs (pdm e macro) compilati a 32 bitexe "old" files of third parties if they are compiled in 32bit (x86) can not work with solidedge st 10 because it is only 64bit, from this version no longer provide 32bit libraries for interoperability.

per i programmatori. stando a quel si legge bisognerebbe ricompilare:
"existing programs, compiled for 32-bit processors, can be recompiled with the target cpu set to x64 or any cpu in order to access the 64-bit versions of the libraries."

with the various what's new have made us believe that, at least with premium licenses, we would have found a new environment useful for the realization of interactive technical documentation (the technical publishing module) at least in its basic version... exactly how it happened a few years ago with keyshot
instead this new form (very interesting in my opinion) is provided only with payment (we speak of figures around 4000€ for the basic version) and with the obligation to combine the purchase of this form with a new d&d license (including the above but not given)
At the same time it seems to me something very cheap and certainly communicated very badly!
Did someone get it? or at least could you try?

I am using it because of the beta testing st11, and I must say that it seems very valid.
in the company we are considering its purchase also because of the benefits due to the Industry 4.0

I also noticed that putting the sp3 puts me in English administrator of the parts previously installed in Italian.

hkey_local_machine\software\unigraphics solutions\standard parts

edit the key: language and value 4.

now reissue the indexing of the parts and you will find them in Italian

the only way is to intervene by hand in the printer settings. other thing to open the alert to the dealer for opening an pr, I have already opened it for customers

I have already intervened manually on the printer but I have noticed that I always change the print scale instead of 1:2 set me automatically adapted to the margins of the printer and I turn it.
