Good morning, I have my problem (I don't even know if it's feasible)

I have a compartment (drying of lifts) which contains all the mechanics of the plant in question. I need the compartment to be completely transparent and not with a white effect (glass)

as a display style I set that shaded with visible edges, and I wanted to have the completely transparent compartment. (e.g. only external lines.

as visualization style there is also only external lines but it is applied to the whole model, and I would like to have total transparency only on the outer compartment.

all this talking about model 3d as in an overall set.

I hope you can help me, if you can do as described!

What version of if you use?

with the st5 inside the axieme go to the menu view/style . Select the component you want to change, press the redefinition command face, go to the voice "appearance" and lower the opacity to a value type 0.1 so you become transparent. eventually choose the white color so the idea of transparency.

hum... still remains a "fake transparency"
I attach an exampleI would like the components inside to be seen as the one that stands at the top... well defined and not with a transparent halo, which is the vain!

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible since for obvious visual reasons what is behind by force of things will be opacized.
the only solution could be to create a partial section in the 3d that only affect the outer shell on a portion that lets you see the details inside and understand how they are placed.

or create a sketch connected to the faces of the detail, then in 3d hide the model and display only the sketch so solve the problem.
