unreadable tiff images in autocad 2010

hello to everyone, the company I work with made me autocad upgrade. I passed from 2008 ita to 2010 ita.
I'm facing a problem I can't solve. when I open a drawing containing a tiff image it doesn't show me and in options it tells me it's "unreadable". If I try to upload it to a new project, it gives me an error saying "type of unsupported files". I have verified in the autodesk forum and such error should be resolved with update 1 (sp1). I downloaded it, installed it and I restarted but nothing the problem remains! Does it happen to you, too?

Do you only do it with tiffs or other formats?

not only with tiffs that unfortunately are the only ones that manage transparency! I can't handle it.

a strange thing, when installing it asks me about what products I want to install it and in the list there are autocad, revit and true view that they are recognized in English while I have them all in Italian! bhoo

doing some research, this problem also appeared with the old versions of autocad and was recommended by the autodesk to fix the tiff, opening it with a graphic program (not paint of windows), with the option lzw disabled. It seems that sometimes there may be problems with tiffs that have lzw compressions.

Nothing, I remembered I didn't give her compression but for scruples I raised her. I solved by reloading one in png (I didn't know that autocad managed the transprency of pngs too). I have comunqeu sent a feedback on the page of the update 1 of autodesk! thanks for the help plannerroad!
