two weeks ago I attended one of those conventions that are organized for the obtainment of training credits, the software house sponsor of the event offered zwcad (listino 450 €) to 300 € if you bought within thirty days, to 150 € :tongue: if you bought it immediately.

was it per case tecnobit the sponsor?

Regardless of the economic evaluations that must rightly make those who buy (the value for this product looks great), I have always wondered how it can be legal to copy so shamelessly the interface of a software.

is not only a question of interface, but also of commands!! data fields, tables and constraints are not flour of their sack. are taken by autocads and copied brutally. But at the legal level I think there is nothing to do, even if fiat and ferrero managed to get paid for plagiarism.

Yes, for the occasion they promoted their software to georeferential and scale rasters of plant maps.

it is difficult to find forums on zwcad in Italian...and even I think the program is spreading a lot!
let's see if anyone can help me....I downloaded blocks from the site www.agglomerati.ch, they put dwg of self-locking floors to allow designers to create the retinals. there are also instructions on how to do for autocad (superhatch control in the express tools menu) but on zwcad I did not find a similar command. so I would like to create the retino from the block, but I can't understand how to do it in zwcad (the guide obviously is in English and I understand half). Someone can enlighten me!

I want to point out that I am not a zwcad userYou have to see if there is such a command on zwcad! Maybe there's...

you probably the superhatch correspondent isn't there yet... but I can't even figure out how to create retinals normally!

for commands I do not think they can copy them shamelessly by autocad, there are laws against copying/paste of code, and also against reverse-engineering..

However I have been using it for a few years and I have to say that I am very well, as a value for money I think is the best autocad alternative that is around

I also took a zw3d license in October, for the moment I'm trying to learn by myself, coupled with faces that it's not parametric I do a little hard to understand the management logic.as cad seems quite complete for the price it has (only the fact of having understood the importers direct nx catia pro.e)
for April should release the 2013 version (as I saw in the videoconference of Tuesday 5 February there are big news)
ps.zw3d is the new vx version of a few years ago.
