lines not visible during drawing

Hi.
I have a problem with autocad 2013, i.e. while drawing I don't see "the trail" of the line and so I don't know which side I'm going until I clicked.
example: I click in a point to move to point b, but the line that connects to with b remains invisible until mouse click

check that the object is not placed on a hidden layer... :smile:
otherwise the effect is the same...

ok then the problem could be due to the video card (update the drivers)
or some variable setting. Is this the first time you've ever had? Are you drawing in 2d or 3d? does the same in the layout?

try updating the drivers. I can't tell you anything else. I avoid the tabs amd radeon as the plague, unless I need a pc toy

have you enabled hardware acceleration? have you updated the video card drivers?

to me with sk video 4870 and 2010, never had problems.
instead I had bizzeffe on other pcs that mounted the nvidia (skie during the work, missing video update etc).

if you go to the autodesk site, tells you which drivers have been tested with the program version

the "crossair" (in English - in Italian I do not know what it is called, cmq the square at the intersection of the axes when the program is waiting for command) commands the color of the line of "dragmode"

In practice, if you have the gray background and put the white crossairs (according to the card's voice), when you make the polyline you will see the already 'designed line of the color that must be, and "the elastic" attached to the white pointer (the dragon) .
