autocad 2010 lento su windows 7 home 64 bit

Hello everyone, unfortunately I have this problem too.

I mounted a ssd and migrated to win7-64bit and with notable surprise I noticed considerable difficulties working with few objects in 3d in autocad 2010 and win7.

I left xp-32 bits on the velociraptor and the same dwg files are normally fluid.

according to you the problem is how it handles the 3d windows sever or autocad 2010 which is not made for 64 bits?

I have a serious problem with my pc: windows 7 64bit, i7 intel with 3.0 ghz, 12gb ram and graphics card nvidia picture 600, autocad use with hsbcad for design wooden houses, but it is really incredibly slow! When I roote the models and I use orbit the pc has some nerve breaks, it turns better on the laptop of one I know that uses the same program. How can I fix it, say it is a hardware conflict problem, configuration or card is not supported?

first thing:
- Try to install the autocad upgrade?
- also, updated graphics card drivers?

you have activated the hardware acceleration of autocad, I put whipthread to 3, updated driver and autocad but the problem remains; I took that card just because it was certified, and I need fluidity and speed, but at this point I start thinking there is somewhere a hardware problem, maybe a wrong connection (I don't know, mortgage: hardware I understand less than 0).

What a nerve. .

hello to all I am new to the forum... I wanted to tell you that I also have the same problem in fact I installed versions 2010 and then 2011 of the software but both were very slow even in 2d to track simple lines and I am using a laptop with processor i7 with 4 gb ram and ati radeon 5650. I also tell you that the last games at the maximum resolution turn without problems so I don't think it is a problem of video card. You can help me urgently use this software.thanks

do not worry is a problem that has many, I have these delays in drawing 2d (lines etc) with a workstation of the t7400 with picture graphics card and a quadcore xeon (obviously autocad uses only 1).

with an old 2004 (as I regret) such operations were immediate without this delay effect.

the problem I think is of autocad that has become heavy and articulated. I don't know, but I feel many complaining that machines can't be exploited, the hardware is there but they don't go.

I don't think so. I use pc much more scarce than yours and I never had this kind of problem (on 2d) neither on 2009 nor 2010 nor 2011 even in 2012.

while envying certain configurations that I read here sometimes, I never had problems on the 2d.

I am on a xp pro 64... Maybe that's what he's fighting with autocad... The xp64 has not been undeveloped much. They recommend me to go to 7.. you say. 64 of course.

I tried to follow your advice but I think the problem is not about directx.I wanted to tell you that I noticed something by deactivating the polar pointing and the object snap the program turns perfect. What can I do? I can not draw if these things are not active.

for the osnap I agree... for the polar a little less. I keep it permanently off.. .

dunque, io ho:
  • z400 with 9gb of ram and nvidia picture fx2000.
  • windows 7 professional (x64)
  • autocad mechanical 2012
Every now and then it seems "plant", like: select an entity, I go into the properties to change layers, type of line, etc..., and the list-boxes get stuck.

when I had the 2009 version on xp/x86_32 I had made a conversion tool - with its visualbasic - dwg (so that it turned me drawings made with cadam, pro/engineer, etc... in autocad mechanical drawings) and now I migrated it on 64bit machines.

the code is the same, yet the processing is much slower; I have not made a comparison to equal design, but the feeling that it is clearly slower to elaborate is there.
