Bye to all,
I just changed pc station to office and now I have an i7-3820 3.60 ghz - 16gb ram - ssd 256gb - picture 4000.
Unfortunately for reasons of budget we have not updated the version of solidworks and reinstalled sw 2010 sp.0 with win 7 64bit.
the performance of the machine is definitely valid and the quality jump compared to a workstation of 3 years ago is seen from the simple ignition...I expected therefore to be able to design much more quickly without having to wait every time biblical times (legated to performance of the old pc not excelled and however the network connection that albeit gigabit does not make miracles when opening a complete machine from 8000/9000 components).
However there is a huge problem of slowness once you make a clik on a face.
I explain better, once loaded the machine (even without shaded view with edges) if with the sx clikko button on any face and after rough or zoom, it blocks everything and comes the classic window (solidworks does not respond).
this happens with a certain frequency so at the end of the day you lose a tide of time. .
Does anyone work in my own condition? sw2010 sp.0 on win7 64bit?
What do you recommend?
Thank you.
