solidworks double rescue

if you already have your macro you have to add to the name the date. you need to look at some similar macros, because they have done so many. You have to whip a little.
Yes, but then it is a macro that works on its own, without using the savebackground plugin. It must be modified as you say, but I see he didn't attach it.

I created a macro that must be connected to savebackground 4.0. You need to connect it to the table save post. in a few words after saving the file in pdf, check if in the same directory of the table there is a pdf file with the same name. if yes, rename it by adding the date of today.
this only works if the file is saved with the save option in the same folder.
good morning, can you leave the original file and save the file with the date, i.e. eventually have multiple files but with different dates?

the macro works like this:
- verify if there is a pdf file with the same name as the open table (from which the pdf file has just been exported)
- if there is rename with the same name with the addition of the date
- if today afternoon I go back to pdf the same file, the macro deletes that of the morning and replaces it with that of the afternoon (the date of today is the same therefore can exist only 1 of today)
- of course if tomorrow I go to make another save of the file, the date will be different therefore saved with the date of today remains and the new one is added
- therefore only one file of historian per day for the same file

Alternatively you need to enter even now and minute you want a more complete historian, but in the request was written the date and not even the time.

Hi.
I read and read the discussions
I have never installed your plugin since with my macro (which I found on the net) I do what I need.
However as soon as I have time I look at it for sure.

My simple macro (which saves only pdf) is this that I attach but I don't know how to schedule a good thing so I manually arrange to add the date.

I understand, you wrote the post about what the savebackground was about, not the macro group.
now you or an eye to the macro you posted

Good morning and thank you for your work.

I used it by doing it after saving connected to savebackground and it doesn't work, only pdf is written without details.

the macro "rename_dopo_saving" I used it the same way and it was ok.

What's wrong?

macros to be used in the savebackground plugin must have the name of the module that is called module1, as from specification found in the installation path (word file), otherwise they cannot work. rename the form that is now called printpdf_dwg in module1 and try again.

I renamed, but the result is always the same. after saving the macro "rename_dopo_salvage" the file name changes with the date with that "file save as pdf dateora" nothing happens except saving the pdf file without any other additions.

I think that the second is nothing to do with his programme, because it is what I had sent to make it change, and perhaps it has a different internal structure. .

Hi, can you change the macro "file save as pdf" by inserting the revision index? and also export the dxf?
I should just insert in the macro the path of the file model of document 1 in order to extract it?

I just installed and tried the plugin...useful and especially works great!
congratulations on the great work.
