solidworks double rescue

Okay. I tried, but reading within the macro, although I do not understand anything about what is written, I see that it should save in a specific folder this: "c:\users\ufftecnico\desktop\" and the macro obviously does not work. I want the file saved in the same folder as the axieme. What do I need to replace?

Sorry I forgot......ops
You have to write in the path where you want me to save it.. .

Excuse me.

Hi.
Don't apologize! but thank you again, but I do not have a specific folder, this always varies to the range of the asses, so I think there must be something specific, we wait for some expert!

Good morning, I intervene in the discussion to ask for something. I installed the savebackground release 2.0 and noticed that it does not work properly to save the pdf automatically on multiple sheets. in the particular case of a slddrw file on 3 sheets creates a pdf file of 2 sheets. Did someone notice the same problem and know how to solve it? Thank you.

I ask if you can add a button or more buttons type save by name but only when I think that the design is complete in its parts.

Thank you all for the excellent work done.
Good morning, I add to the discussion, first I would like to thank also I jenuary for the excellent work done and I would like to ask, if it were possible as he already asked bearzat, insert a saving option only at work finished not to save and rewrite the various files if you have not yet finished the job, because sometimes they are heavy and it takes a little time to save when not needed.
Thanks again.

Good evening, everyone.
jenuary compliments for the great job, fantastic!
I would have two proposals though:
1-would it be possible in the "part" section also select a configuration?
for example to save a sheet bent in step only in the default configuration and not in the development configuration, which may have remained active from the last save.
2-This proposal would go to bypass the idea of starting this fantastic job, but... could you avoid resolving the file itself? i.e. save only the step of the part, without fixing the .sldprt file itself.

thank you so much again for the availability, number 1!! !

hi luckfragnom, to do what you think you just create and connect a macro to the pre-save for the part. this must check if your part is in sheet metal and if the active configuration is default, in case the active. the "macro settings" tab allows you to do this and much more, covering a wide range of situations and needs.

I understand, but would it still solve the original part?

It's because everything is linked to the saving event of solidworks, to which we trigger a macro before the rescue or after the rescue, or both.

I understand. my problem is that working with a management, every time I save it updates the record also asking me to confirm by sending. to make long list of models, in the end I should use directly the macro.
thank you very much anyway (y)(y)

Good morning to all,
I reread all this nice discussion to see if I could add a date to the name of the pdf file while saving the design, but I found nothing.

I'll explain.
I already have my beautiful macro that saves the drawing file also in pdf and adds, if I want, the description of the component.
would it be possible to add to the name of the pdf file that is lost, even the date of the last save, to have a historical of the changes?

Thank you.

if you already have your macro you have to add to the name the date. you need to look at some similar macros, because they have done so many. You have to whip a little.

I created a macro that must be connected to savebackground 4.0. You need to connect it to the table save post. in a few words after saving the file in pdf, check if in the same directory of the table there is a pdf file with the same name. if yes, rename it by adding the date of today.
this only works if the file is saved with the save option in the same folder.
