It's two different things. polylinea width is in model unit while thicknesses are in paper unit. also how to apply the width to everything that is not polylinea? (type 3dpolis, ellipses, lines etc.)

I gave an alternative to the line with the same result. If you set pellepse to 1, the ellipse becomes a polylinea and you can set the thickness you want.

2 different questions remain. the thickness of the printing line (mm) and the width of the polylinea (u.c.) have different uses. then you do what you want; for what concerns me you can also draw many lines flanked to simulate the thicknesses.. .

@mello de @mir Tristan says something you didn't think of. the print thickness of any entity is linked to the print pen and not to the entity, so (example) drawings to the 100 but molds to the 10, a pen 0.7 will remain 0.7.
Instead, a 0,7 to 100 pline, printed at 10 will be 7mm, a difference not recently.

I never realized that the thickness limit was 2,11mm, but maybe because... what the hell is a 2,11mm thick line?
when drawing to china (some know what I'm talking about?) the rapidgraph more often than they are mai managed to find it was 2mm. I got it. by curiosity, I should still have it, but never used, the flow of the liquid made curling the glossy paper.. .

I don't know what it's for, but they put it in!
my first assonometries and plants were designed exactly with the rapidgraph, first with the pencil, then with the rapidgraph and then the finish with the tin, because the drooling was always there!

see that if you change the line thickness, for example color1 (red) by inserting to e.g. 20mm this value you find it in the thick line of the properties to be assigned to the objects.
