It's something I've never done, but I think it's enough for an iso image of your xp already configured to install in the virtual machine.... at least so I seem to understand by spulking on the net.... the ram to devote and the space on virtual hd you decide it according to your hardware resources.

when configuro easybcd 2.4 exits this list (which seems correct):
there is a total of 2 entries in the boot manager.

taken a hd ssd... downloaded from microsoft win10 for usb key... keyed.. and installed... re-installed programs and reconfigured from zero (custom toolbar, quick keys)... missing the configuration of the 3d connexion and finished. an annoying flaw is that the modem tim configuration is always open at startup even if not required and (often) "lose the connection". to restore it I have to restart win10 (in the modem all the lights line and wifi turned on and regular).. I assume/experience both the modem tim (both those purchased from me (usually tp-linl) and those free tim) more than 2/3 years do not last me.. and I spend them every night as well.. Mah.
the ge force210 card is taken for the neck... I will look for something alternative economic

Hi, Archimedes, I'll show you... I explained the problem to those who are more secure than me and I was suggested to proceed so... install first xp and after windows 10 should create the boot manager for the start of the two operating systems in the same hd partitioned with two partitions... or as you have already done with both connected hds but windows 10 you have to install it after xp on empty hd.
I don't know if you've solved in the meantime... .

Hi, I haven't solved yet. I find myself in this situation:
1 hd with installed and working xp
1 hd with installed and working win10

if I connect a hd at a time (i.e. a connected hd and a disconnected one) normally turn on and independently operating systems (and are working).
I installed on win10 easybcd 2.4 (except for mbr modification requests that I don't know if to press yes or no) because on xp you don't install.

the result is the notice of "modification" (see photo)... that "if" I have to press ok without risking anything... I do.

Try to do so... create a partition, even small, with linux which then installs a grub in the master boot and makes you sew the system to start. I wanted to avoid "passing" for bios hoping to use xp win boot or win10 boot or easybcd... I just miss how to configure easybcd... This is my doubt.. doubt that on the net is "powered" confirming that un boot between xp-win10 is not so obvious/simple to do How do you think...

30 seconds time to "choose" what operating system to start at every start... I thought it was easier to tell the truth.
