thanks to ♪ for sharing his experience that made me think a little. in my little one I have in mind a smaller project based on the concept of "network" (which is more or less the same that outlined maxopus).

the most delicate point in my opinion is how to manage the internal work passage to the network and its "competence". these my ideas for a first phase "soft" (plus a category association that a consortium: then if the thing works you can continue on the same road):

1 - entry into the "network" only with unanimity approval of members. expulsion from the network only unanimously and before payment of any annual contributions.

2 - limiting the number of members to 5-10 (intention as pervasive) avoiding contemporary overlapping (e.g. two studies that design with the same software and in the same region)

3 - limited initial investment, in common few instruments:

web portal with presentation of "soci"
template for technical relations, documents, ...
a telephone number (possibly location) of reference
advertising campaign on search engines (google and bing)
job exchange area (e.g. dropbox accessible to all)

remain active logos and denominations of individual members, which appear in the documentation next to the logo of the "network"​

4 - the service of "representation and coordination" is paid in a forfeitary and annual way (compensation established unanimously, possibly through formulation of offers from the various partners) as a consultancy service for the reimbursement of expenses (e.g. telephone, website, ...) to which the "signations" are added

5 - "signing" means the passage of works internally to the "network". in my opinion It is appropriate that the billing be borne by those who report, so as not to have the need to establish internal quotas (who signals has the interest to create a margin but at the same time can not "draw the rope" in order not to lose the job). only bond: do not compete for the offer a partner of the network with another partner of the network or an external professional (pena automatic exclusion from the network). in summary: the more the system is "self-established" and it self-governs for the principle of convergence of interests the better.6 - the member who comes out or is explused from the network is deleted from the website (useful for promotion and transparency to the customer) and can no longer use the logo of the network (which is also guarantee of quality: This is an aspect I would advertise with potential customers)

edit: there would then be the speech of responsibility: in my opinion the responsibility with the customer is of whom invoice to the customer (so also the risk of being paid late/partially). risk is rewarded by margin.

I started small... in my opinion in a first phase it is better to limit itself to classic studies/consultants including only later manufacturing companies. I would limit myself only to technicians in p.iva and to studies and engineering/design companies. an employee who works part time for a private activity (exceptions saves) usually has another approach and poor time/licensibility
