is it possible to save the files with the name of a property of the same instead of the file name equal to that of departure?
tested in depth with solidworks 2016 sp.3.good Monday to all,
finally as promised I created rel. 3.0 of the program, with important implementations:We could over time create a whole set of macros that perform something before or after the rescue.
- for all three environments, part, table, together, I inserted a flag that allows to launch one or more macros (two) before and after the “save” command event through a dedicated tab, therefore you will find a dedicated panel for setting the macros to be launched.
- I have inserted a dedicated panel for batch opening and saving of a custom file list, in order to be able to automatically export or edit the files by setting macros; works as a scheduler to understand.
- with the installation will create a director with three under directors for macros, one for each environment; I have inserted a macro for environment, which in this case performs the optimized view. attacking this macro at the pre-save event, the optimized view will be performed; I have inserted this macro to start, because for those who export jpeg files for preview it is correct that it is saved with the center view otherwise it serves then little.
for example if you want to change the display mode of the tangent edges at the table only for export, we will connect a macro that changes this mode in the table pre-save and another that restores the old mode after saving.
for installation I created a ".exe" file that will install the plug-in; for those who had already installed rel.1 or 2 there is no problem, will be overwritten automatically.
inside the archive rar you will find a small manual with explanations of how it works and opportunities that will give you this version, mandatory to be able to fully exploit the features (see also the page dedicated to macros).
I hope you can be of great help... in the case of problems or explanations about it let me know, I tested it but something always jumps out, it seems impossible.
Hi.
thanks jenuary of the answer, but what I meant is that the command manager can customize; so if I disable the command manager card and save customization, how then to reboot again?Hi, Teseo.
not being a macro but a plugin, it is the start of solidworks to activate it in the taskpane, in the command manager and in the toolbox, otherwise you have to delete it directly in the code, I do not think that solidworks allows to disable the commands you do not need.
alternatively in the time you are not using it you can go on tools-> Added and remove the tick on cad3d so turn it off, you can activate it whenever you want without having to relaunch solidworks.
I think in a few hours I'll try your addin because it gets interesting, especially without pdm.You can.
I think it's time to create rel.4.0....
