windows 10

I knew these figures more or less, but here we talked about missing revenue due to the free upgrade. without extending the speech too boringly, I just wanted to say that not all those who have the 7 would acquire the 10 if it were paid, indeed. and the pirates even less. so to estimate the missing revenue should not be taken the total number of licenses that are around.

windows 10 will arrive on 29 July 2015:http://www.microsoft.com/it-it/windows/featuresthe icon: "ottieni windows 10" appeared to users w7 w8.1 who installed the optional update kb3035583, which allows the automatic installation of the new version of the operating system whose to the public is indicated on 29 July 2015.

I don't know how to read or write, I've booked the game, but in the meantime I'm going to mount the insider preview in a vmware car.

sorry but if one like me who bought two years ago a new laptop at the hp and was supplied to him the laptop with so much of windows 8 already beautiful installed, as in case of problems during the upgrade to windows 10, to reuse the installation key to return evtl.a windows 8?

on a pc I installed in software that extracts the windows serial, if you care about searching for what it is called and I tell you. Once I got the code I downloaded the iso of 8 and 8.1 from the microsoft site, you can do the same before doing the upgrade.

Thank you for your interest. If you can pass me the tool I will try to recover the w8 key. So I cover it and in case of problems I have the code. Thank you

but if I book (and already the icon broke me) the upgrade happens via download? No physical support? but for restoration, or other things like that, not rare in windows, what do I do? compared to win 7 pro, how is it light? Obviously I would have reservations, upgrade so bad, without understanding before which sw work properly, and/or various drivers, it is not a good idea.

I have the same perplexity. the passage from 8 to 8.1, if I don't remember badly, it happened through an update update and did not create problems. Sincerely, for the use I do, I have not noticed any substantial differences. If so also for the 10...... what I don't want is to use a new soft to read cd/dvd, or other things like that.... would need more information and the ability to maintain a known interface and maybe even some features of the previous s.o. I want too much. However, I will probably send back to the last, waiting for the experiences of those who will have more courage than me. (I'm not a slender and often for things like that I'm helping children.. )

with win 8 -> 8.1 it worked in the same way, as I have already written above there is the possibility to get the serial (that of the dvd) and then download from the site microsoft the iso. I think they'll do the same thing with 10, but for the moment there's no certainty. in my opinion win 8.1 pro goes better than 7 pro, very stable, fast and if you want the start button equal to 7 with 2 euro you can buy for 2 pcs (I use normal). all the pippe of the user control can be disabled with a registry key and at that point the metro apps no longer work but you find a desktop use such as that of 7. my systemist explained some hidden novelties of 8.1 and there is also substance, not only a different design of icons.
only to make an example the management of the vga of 8.1 is much better than that of 7. with win 7 I often display sticks even with cards and certified drivers, with 8.1 turn everything without problems.. .
a friend of mine installed photoshop 7 on 64-bit win 8.1, just go in the "compatibility" mode during installation. Clearly there is no guarantee that everything works, but many applications work smoothly.

would you be so kind to tell me how to do it? on the home notebook I had already installed a program to make the start button appear (it seems to me 'start menu 8'), but the subway menu sometimes appears again when by mistake I press some key combinations.

Thank you.

curiosity.
but windows 10 always has the concept of registers or have they finally introduced a concept similar to unix?

the metro interface continues to exist even with disabled uac, the difference is in managing some limitations of the uac interface. for example if the pc with 8.1 is inserted in a domain the creation of virtual disks with subst command launched by batch files from problems, the drag and drop of files from explore resources in program screens does not work, etc... disabling uac eliminates these problems, but the metro apps no longer work.
to disable uac you must set on "0" the following enablelua registry key contained in:

hkey_local_machine> software>microsoft>windows>currentversionpolicies>system

I saved 2 reg files that I can call back quickly to turn off or reactivate in 1 click the user control. Keep in mind that it needs reboot when you change this key.

for the start button test the "startisback" application. I know it but I never installed it, I got used to 8.1 and I don't find it necessary. to launch the start pressing applications and start writing the program name, at the end it is faster than the start button.

I have not heard anything about this, but I assume this is an evolution of 8.1...

thanks to valuable information. As soon as I can try to make the change you suggest.

news from the web

windows 10 will not arrive immediately for everyone.
potentially aimed at "a billion devices", the software will be released gradually per pc and tablet. the first to receive it will be those who are already testing it, the "insiders", pairs to 5 million users. then it will be the turn of those who have "booked" a copy of windows 10 with an online procedure active from June 1st. and then all the others.

According to a recent study of kadence international on behalf of microsoft italia, just over a quarter of PC and laptop owners with windows 7, 8 and 8.1 is ready to upgrade immediately. free or not? this is the question that has secured many users in recent months.

microsoft has specified in recent months that the upgrade to windows 10 will be free for those who have "conform" copies of windows 7 and 8.1, not for those who have pirated copies, installed illegally, of previous versions of the software: the "pirates" will have to pay, even if tenders will be provided to encourage them to move to legality.

"For now there are reservations, I can't give the numbers but they are doing well, more strongly than we thought." said pure carlo, managing director of microsoft italia, talking about the free upgrade campaign to windows 10.
"in Italy we will be faster than in the rest of the world", he added, in the margin of an initiative of digital confindustria to firenze.

windows 10 will be in 7 versions (home, mobile, pro, enterprise, education, mobile enterprise and iot core), with custom cut functions of users and devices.
the most anticipated is certainly windows home, available for personal computers and tablets, focused on everyday uses of users. there will be much of the new features: Cortana voice assistant, browser edge - which replaces the "historical" internet explorer, continuum mode for tablets, windows hello that will recognize face, iris and fingerprints of users.
windows 10 per pc will also have an app, called 'phone companion', which will connect the computer even to iphone and Android smartphone of google, bringing on these the ecosystem windows (including the horny voice assistant).
